With such a worldwide focus on sustainability, many schools across the country are looking to cut energy consumption costs and waste. School districts are now implementing energy conservation projects and spreading awareness in their surrounding communities.
With the help of Aramark, the East Baton Rouge Parish School System—the second largest district in Louisiana—optimized the use of their existing systems and reinforced efficiency practices throughout the school district. EBR was also able to develop and execute an energy management plan around high-return energy projects while repairing the aging infrastructure.
Discover what initiatives EBR and Aramark took to promote energy-efficiency and sustainable behaviors in their school system and the results that followed in this informative case study.
