High-poverty schools and districts are eligible to participate in several federal reimbursement programs to serve meals to all enrolled students at no cost.

One of these programs, the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), reduces food insecurity while eliminating the stigma for students and the administrative burden of collecting applications.
